- Advantages: It reaches high light transmittance of over 91.5% and exhibits a nearly colorless transparency. This glass supports the same advanced processing techniques as high-quality float glass, offering the highest cost-effectiveness among comparable materials.Disadvantages: Its high thermal conductivity results in poor thermal performance, and its hardness is only average. When used in building envelopes, it requires additional energy-saving design measures. Furthermore, its price exceeds that of ordinary glass.
