Product description
Mono-crystalline silicon infrared filters are based on mono-crystalline silicon wafers substrates. By alternately depositing optical films with different refractive indices and thicknesses on the substrate, they achieve the function of filtering specific infrared wavelengths.
Core principle
Utilize the excellent infrared transmission property of mono-crystalline silicon, include good transmission in the 1.2 – 7 μm and far-infrared wavelength range. Combined with the coating process to achieve spectral control functions such as Long-wavelength transmission, Short-wavelength transmission, Band transmission, Anti-reflection films, and Reflective films, allowing only the target infrared wavelengths to pass through while suppressing interference from other wavelengths.
Typical applications
Infrared thermometers, pyroelectric sensors, gas analyzers, night vision instrument windows, thermal imaging equipment, etc. They are also known as special filter films for infrared sensors.
